Episode 4 of the BBC’s “Walks of Life” aired this morning and focused on Dartmoor. The presenter, JB Gill, undertakes a 12 mile circular walk from Princetown. The program touches on Dartmoor Prison, Dartmoor Farming, Dartmoor’s spiritual side, the hound of the baskervilles, ghost stories, the importance of Dartmoor’s peat bogs, Dartmoor’s bronze age stone rows and artistic photography.
A fascinating program with great footage of Dartmoor’s mysterious and wonderful scenery. Well worth a viewing, it’s available on the BBC iPlayer for the next 29 days here.
